The new Psychiatric Emergency Center (PEC), slated to open in the summer of 2025, is a location many are excited to see and learn about. JPS Health Network hosted Near Southside Fort Worth during a stop on their February development tour.
Attendees of the tour learned about the project and observed the ongoing construction of the PEC. During the tour, the structural design of the facility was discussed in depth. The PEC is being designed with intention, as its framework, artwork, and color choices have been chosen to evoke feelings of tranquility and establish peace among our patients and team members.
Tour attendees are usually local business owners, elected officials, engineers, and highly engaged members of Near Southside. By participating in this tour, these guests experienced the future of behavioral healthcare and were empowered to become advocates for our transformative healthcare services.
